CODY WASIAL

President & Founder, Wee Plant Joy Project

Cody Wasial, known as America’s Joy Catalyst, is the visionary founder of The Wee Plant Joy Project. Launched in early 2023, this initiative aims to create transformative change for our planet and its inhabitants through targeted conservation efforts.

Cody’s journey began in childhood, surrounded by her own pets—rabbits, hamsters, fish, dogs, and cats—which fostered her love for animals. At just 16, she started working at a local veterinary office, further igniting her passion for wildlife and environmental conservation. She later became the owner of Cody’s Cozy Pals, employing over 190 people and serving more than 4,000 animal clients over 15 years while rehabilitating hundreds of homeless dogs and other animals on the side in her spare time as well as taking in and helping injured wildlife..

One of Cody’s favorite memories was when She brought her beloved guinea pig, Hodge Podge, to schools to teach children about environmental stewardship. Since his passing, Hodge Podge’s legacy continues as the mascot of Wee Plant Joy, inspiring kids worldwide about the importance of caring for the environment.

This rich background in animal care and environmental stewardship forms the core of Cody’s life and work. Through The Wee Plant Joy Project, she continues to sow seeds of joy, connection, and sustainable change—one project at a time.
